The 41 European Universities were presented by the European Commission, offering a total financial support of €7 million. euros to each alliance through the Erasmus+ and Horizon 2020 programmes over 3 years, with the aim of enhancing the quality, openness, digitisation and attractiveness of European higher education.
What is the European Universities action?
European Universities are alliances between European Higher Education Institutions that aim to become the universities of the future, promoting European values and identity, motivating excellence and competitiveness in European higher education.
To move in this direction, the European Commission is testing cooperation models for European higher education institutions with two (currently) calls for interest through the Erasmus+ programme.
