New Training Programme to create Innovative Business Initiatives in the Health Sector

A new unique opportunity for students, graduates and doctoral candidates is the “Smart-UP LAB Training Program”, organized by the Department of Economics, Management, Institution (DEMI) of the University of Naples Federico Segundo (II), Italy. The aim of the Programme is to create Innovative Business Initiatives in the Health sector and the deadline for submission of applications is 4 June 2018.

The SMART-UP Lab is based on the concept of E-Labs and aims to support and empower students to work in small teams to solve grand challenges in the health sector. Activities such as training courses, seminars, challenges, hackathons, mentoring, networking and other events will contribute to the creation of entrepreneurial projects with economic and social value, which will be selected, supported and presented to the EIT HEALTH international team.

Participants will be enabled, guided and supported technically and in a coordinated way, on their way to exploring the impressive business challenges as defined by the concept of “active and healthy living”.

The programme will take place at the Department of Economics and Management (DEMI) at the University of Naples “Federico II”. Courses will start on 8 June and will be held on specific dates, with the programme ending on 13 December 2018. Some of the actions and presentations listed in the programme may only be eligible for remote viewing via Live Streaming.

The deadline for submissions is the 4th of June 2018. There is no participation fee for the Smart-UP LAB Program. Travel expenses are borne by the participants.
