The Ioannis S. Latsis in order to support financially weak students who have excelled in their undergraduate studies, and to give them the opportunity to obtain a postgraduate degree, announces the award of 20 scholarships for postgraduate studies (Master’s level) in all scientific fields for universities in Greece and abroad, starting in the academic year 2018-2019.

Applications are accepted for postgraduate programmes in European countries. Applications are also accepted for full-time programmes and not part-time or distance learning programmes. Applicants must be starting their first postgraduate degree and may only apply for one postgraduate programme.

Conditions

Applications may be submitted by those who meet all of the following conditions:

-Diploma from high school in Greece

-Degree from public higher educational institutions (Universities and TEI) in Greece or equivalent higher educational institutions abroad.

-Applications may also be submitted by degree holders.

-Average grade point average of at least eight (8.00) in the undergraduate degree or 80% of the grade scale for graduates of foreign universities.

-Candidates with lower grades are also eligible to apply, provided that they belong to the top 10% of graduates: in the academic year of graduation and at the specific graduation ceremony.

-Documented financial inability to cover the cost of studies.

-The place of study must be different from the place of permanent residence of the applicant’s family.

-Start of the first postgraduate programme for the candidate in the academic year 2018-2019.

-The place of the postgraduate programme must be in Greece or in another European country.

Priority will be given to programmes with low tuition fees.

Application procedure and deadline

Applications must be submitted electronically until 8 June 2018 at 14:00 hrs, via the online submission system, which is accessible Here. Candidates must submit their supporting documents in electronic format (scanned) and, if selected, will be asked to provide certified copies of the documents submitted electronically.
